Sean F. Mellino

Sean F. Mellino graduated from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Dickinson College where he majored in biology with additional studies in chemistry, physics and semiconductor fabrication.  He continued his studies at Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he received his JD degree in 2001. While attending Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Sean was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association and participated in the Temple University School of Law summer law program in Rome, Italy. During law school, Sean was a law clerk at International Management Group (IMG) in Cleveland, Ohio. Sean also served as a technical assistant at an intellectual property law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio before beginning his employment with D. Peter Hochberg Co., L.P.A. in 2001.

Sean has filed, prepared and prosecuted numerous patent applications, including patents in the pharmaceutical, chemistry- and biochemical-related fields. He also has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting trademark applications in the United States and throughout the world.

Sean is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the bar of Ohio.
